Our
workshops can carry out anything from a minor service to a major
rebuild on any model of Morgan, it does not have to be a green
+8!!
Yes! Three green +8’s all ready for collection; one car
was entrusted to us for major check over and service before
being shipped out to New Zealand for
our customer's holiday. |
| Morgan Aero 8 servicing just part of our
everyday work. We have the BMW diagnostic equipment to keep your
Aero on the road. |
 |
Of
course, it doesn't just have to be servicing you can ask Autorapide
to do!
Here we've
installed
a Librands
roll bar into a +8. The installation
of these
bars is not simple, but installed properly they become an integral
part of the body/chassis, forming a very strong rear end. Removing
all the interior out of a mint condition Morgan is always a daunting
task, despite having removed hundreds over the years, as Morgan’s
quality of leather gets better and better! |
| |
These
pictures show the complex installation. Although these bars come
black they were later colour
coded to the interior cream, thus blending into the interior
very nicely. We can colour code to any match of interior. |

This system, which incorporates a 280mm ventilated/radial grooved
disc and 4 pot alloy AP racing caliper is the ultimate braking for
any Morgan. This was mated to the hub using our own design of mounting
bell and caliper carrier. This actual set up is being used on a 280bhp
road going +8 but can also be installed on any 4/4 or +4!

|
This
set up shows an upgrade we did recently on a +4 which utilises
new standard disc, overhauled/uprated caliper and fast road EBC
brake pads. All this and new DOT 4 brake fluid; enough to transform
any tired brakes! |
|
| This shows
a recent brake conversion we did to a customers 4/4, incorporating
new brake discs, four pot calipers from the later
cars, green EBC brake pads and Aeroquip hoses all running on DOT5
brake fluid. An alternative, and slightly cheaper option than going
to the full ventilated conversion, yet a massive improvement over
the standard setup. A must for any fast road use or track day enthusiast. |

Pictured
here is one of a number of engines rebuilt this year, this being
a Fiat 2 litre Twin cam for a Morgan +4. Modifications included
fast road cams, remapped distributor curve and downdraught IDF
Webers. All in all a fast road engine with lots of grunt. |
