Dino block undergoing reassembly, as standard road unit. This
engine had liners sourced and installed as the block had gone
far to oval to allow rebore. This job was undertaken by our local
machine shop who have been working with us on Ferrari engines
for the last 18 years, and can work to our exacting standards.
The cost of this operation is a fraction of the cost of a new
block !! |

Same 246 Dino engine, cylinder heads having new guides, valves and unleaded seats installed, ready for reassembly. All cylinder heads are cleaned in a hot chemical tank, we do not bead or shot blast as some people do.
We always try to replicate original engine finishes wherever possible, especially important for concours cars. |

Our
engine rebuilds have all nuts/bolts/washers replaced and all
bearings replaced as this 246 engine front view shows, new lower
sprocket bearings both inner and outer installed. An easy job
to overlook but if you get problems down here once installed
into the vehicle you are in big trouble. This also allows true
chain guidance and tension. |

Any
V12, or Flat 12 Ferrari engine for that matter, requires expert
attention to keep it running reliably and at peak performance.
